Come out and get ready for the 2022 Spring Fastpitch season with our highly skilled coaches!!

Registration is OPEN for our Spring Pitching Clinic!!

Registration will remain open until March 4th for our Spring Pitching Clinic unless the clinic becomes full

All skills welcome from beginner to experienced!

Effective January 3rd, 2022 - New Vaccination/Rapid Test Requirements upon entrance to the schools for adults 18 years of age or older for all RVS Facility use. See below for more details.

Our goal is to provide highly skilled instruction for our athletes, to further develop Softball skills, teamwork, sportsmanship and have fun during the offseason. Players will work on throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, base running and game play.

The goal for this pitching clinic is to provide quality pitching instruction and coaching targeted to each group’s level to help each player reach their maximum potential for next season and produce the best pitchers possible at all levels.

The catching clinic sessions will focus on catching “technical” drills, such as positioning, blocking drills, pop up drills, throwing drills, game play, ect..

**If attending a back catching clinic, players will be required to bring thick hockey socks to cover their knee/shin pads. If you do not have catching equipment some will be available on a first come first serve basis, please let us know upon registration if you require equipment.

**Number of attendants will determine if skill levels will be combined and start times adjusted.

Spring Pitching Clinic, 7 Sessions, 7 hours total

The goal for this pitching clinic is to provide quality pitching instruction and coaching targeted to each group’s level to help each player reach their maximum potential for next season and produce the best pitchers possible at all levels.

*If attending a pitching clinic, players are required to have a catcher, see equipment requirements and vaccination/rapid test requirements below.

 ***No refunds after March 4th, 2022. All refunds are subject to a $25 administration fee

For indoor clinics please bring the following:

  • All Players MUST wear a jill/cup.
  • All Players MUST have a fastpitch softball glove.
  • All Players MUST bring clean, indoor, non-marking runners, this must be a separate from the shoes you wore outside to the clinic.
  • For Skills Clinics Players should bring a CSA approved batting helmet with dual ear flapsfastened chin strap and attached face mask.
  • For Skills Clinics Players may bring an ASA approved bat, some will be available to use.
  • Players are asked to wear comfortable clothing, bring a water bottle and bring a mask.

*If attending a pitching clinic, players are required to have a catcher (parent, older sibling, teammate)

**If attending a back catching clinic, players will be required to bring thick hockey socks to cover their knee/shin pads.

COVID-19 Protocols:

All protocols are subject to change at any time based on the Alberta Government and Rocky View Schools.

  • Proof of vaccination not required for youth.
  • Individuals 18 years old or older, not including RVS students, must produce proof of full immunization or proof of negative COVID-19 Rapid Test as of January 3, 2022, to be in RVS facilities:
    • Proof of immunization includes: A screen shot/image of the QR code proof of immunization produced by Alberta Health (available via
      https://covidrecords.alberta.ca) ready to be scanned.
    • Beginning January 3, 2022, obtain a valid Rapid Test which demonstrates a negative result for COVID-19 infection from a laboratory/pharmacy. Valid test results should be recorded in a printed copy that clearly outlines the type of test, the time and date of sample collection, a clear indication of a negative result and the laboratory that completed the test. Proof of rapid testing remains valid for 72 hours from the time and date of the test.
  • Participants must screen for symptoms, RVS will require all attendees to use the Alberta Daily Health Checklist prior entering the school.
  • Participants must maintain 2 metres distancing, except youth while engaged in physical activity
  • Participants must wear a mask, except youth while engaged in physical activity
  • There will be no spectators allowed in the gym.
  • Please avoid being inside the school during sessions, we are limited to gym use only, no other area in the school is to be used.

Refund Policy:

  • No Refunds after dates listed above, refunds prior to these dates will be subject to a $25 admin fee.
  • If sessions are cancelled due to new COVID-19 restrictions, a partial refund will only be provided if Airdrie Girls Softball receives a refund from the coaches and the facility.
