Airdrie Angels Fastpitch 2020 Winter Clinics

Come out and get ready for the 2020 Spring season with our highly skilled Coaches!

Winter Skills Clinic, 7 Sessions, 10.5 hours total.

Nights of Play: Tuesdays, Jan 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, Feb 4th, 11th & 25th, 2020.

Time: 
6:00-7:30pm for U10/12, FULL
7:30-9:00pm for U14/16/19, FULL

Location: 
Ecole Edwards Elementary School Gym
, Airdrie.

Fees: 
$85 per player

Our goal is to provide highly skilled instruction for our athletes, to further develop Softball skills, teamwork, sportsmanship and have fun during the offseason. Players will work on throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, base running.

Winter Pitching Clinic, 6 Sessions, 6 hours total.

Nights of Play:
Thursdays, Jan 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, Feb 6th & 27th, 2020.

Time: 
6:15-7:15pm for U10/12, FULL
7:15-8:15pm for U14/16/19, FULL

Location: 
Ralph McCall School Gym
, Airdrie.

Fees: 
$100 per player

Info: 
The goal for this pitching clinic is to provide quality pitching instruction and coaching targeted to each group’s level to help each player reach their maximum potential for next season and produce the best pitchers possible at all levels.

*If attending a pitching clinic, players are required to have a catcher, see equipment requirements below

**Number of attendants will determine if skill levels will be combined and start times adjusted.

Winter Catching Clinic, 3 Sessions, 4.5 hours total.

Nights of Play: 
Wednesdays, Feb 5th, 12th & 26th, 2020.

Time: 
6:00-7:30pm for U10/12, max 12 athletes, FULL
7:30-9:00pm for U14/16/19, max 12 athletes, FULL

Location: 
RJ Hawkey School Gym
, Airdrie.

Fees: 
$85 per player

Info: 
The catching clinic sessions will focus on catching “technical” drills, such as blocking drills, pop up drills, throwing drills, game play, ect..

**If attending a back catching clinic, players will be required to bring thick hockey socks to cover their knee/shin pads. If you do not have catching equipment some will be available on a first come first serve basis, please let us know upon registration if you require equipment.

**Number of attendants will determine if skill levels will be combined and start times adjusted.

***No refunds after January 29th, 2020.

For indoor gym times and clinics please bring the following:

  • All Players MUST wear a jill/cup.
  • All Players MUST have a fastpitch softball glove.
  • All Players MUST have clean, non-marking runners.
  • For Skills Clinics Players should bring a CSA approved batting helmet with dual ear flapsfastened chin strap and attached face mask.
  • For Skills Clinics Players may bring an ASA approved bat, some will be available to use.
  • Players are asked to wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.

*If attending a pitching clinic, players are required to have a catcher (parent, older sibling, teammate)

**If attending a back catching clinic, players will be required to bring thick hockey socks to cover their knee/shin pads.

**Registration will remain open until the first day of the clinic, unless sessions are full**
